I uploaded my work email app on my iPhone 6 and ever since then I get a message every time I access the mail. The message says "Passcode requirement, you must change your passcode within xx minutes". Not sure why I get this message. Anyone out there know the reason? Please help!

How did you "upload" your work email app to your iPhone? This is not possible. You can "download" an app from the iTunes Store, only.

If your Work Email is an Exchange account its possible it installed a Profile, and the rules of the Exchange server require changing the device password every so often.
You may need to contact your IT department.
But that doesn't really clarify your problem. You need to provide more information than you have.
I Changed my passcode from a 4 digit one to a 6 digit one (as the prompt was asking me to). Hope the problem goes away..will keep you posted on the topic if it doesn't. Thanks guys!
Be sure to write down the new passcode in case you forget it. Otherwise, you would have to restore the device.
