MacAir and Canon PIXMA MG2520
I have a MacAir (mid 2014), Os X 10.9.5, planning to buy Canon PIXMA MG2520:
1. Are they compatible?
2. Can i install s/w for the printer online? as I don't have a drive.

It sounds like you are concerned with the printers compatibility with Mavericks, and whether or not the drivers can be downloaded rather than installed from a disc. According to the following article the MG2500 series is compatile with Mac OS X.

As far as downloading the software for it, typically any updates are downloaded using Software Update on your Mac, but you can also check the manufacturers website to see if theres an executible that can be downloaded:
