There is a midi bug when you try to use the external instrument. You can record midi
with the FA but cannot playback your track with the sound of the FA.
In the externat instrument you can choose the FA daw control but not the FA 06 output.
This problem appeared with the upgrade 10.1 no problem with 10.0.7

Did you upgrade the OS or was this a Logic upgrade only? If you have your system set to automatic upgrade, your OS could have been updated to the latest.
You're using the latest driver for Yosemite?

I am using the latest driver available (1.0.1) but it is not Yosemite tested by Roland ( the driver is 10,9 approve)
I have upgraded Logic this week, the OS upgrade was done long ago.
I kept a copy of Logic 10.7 in my back up drive And when I use it (with 10.10.2 )
there is no problem with the external instrument.
