When is Apple going to create a swipe to delete contact feature? I have many contacts that are saved from the past but I can never put aside the time to clear all of those unwanted contacts. It would be a great idea for Apple to include this feature in the next update.... any ideas?

I've always assumed that requiring multiple steps to delete a contact is a safety feature. Given how often people post on these forums hysterical that they've lost contacts, I can only imagine how much worse it would be if it were easier to delete people.
Why not do your contact editing through whatever account you sync to? I sync my contacts to Gmail. It's very easy to delete multiple contacts through the Gmail interface on my computer.
