I was just using my iPod put it down for about an hour and then suddenly the screen wouldn't turn on and no sense of life at all. It didn't help that my home button is broken river but this is not normal also I have never dropped it.
iPod touch, iOS 8.1.2
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
This happened to me a couple of weeks ago, press the home button and power button at the same time for a couple of seconds, its how you power reset.
So my iPod 5 was working fine until about 30 minutes ago when I updated it and put it in my bag and grabbed it and wouldn't turn back on. What should I do?
