Mar 9, 2015 1:53 PM in response to sterling rby yellow6,i also have this problem and spent a couple of hours on live chat with someone a few weeks back, but didn't manage to resolve it.
he sent me a mail with a link to upload the diagnostic files but the link didn't give me an upload option so that was no use.
wifi isn't stable long enough to check the App Store (but works fine on my trust old MacBook and every other device in the house)
given the number of times this comes up on these forums, surely it must be a recognised hardware/software issue?

Why didn't you use the ethernet? iMac is a desktop.

so i figured how to clickety click, not easy for me, and added the details of my iMac. now to start reading
I replied to the email about the link - never had a response, that's why didn't send another
ethernet is a great idea, aside from the broadband hub being the other end of the house so unless i carry the iMac upstairs it's not so practical
thanks anyhow
