snapchat not recognizing address book

i finally upgraded my galaxy s4 to an iPhone 6 plus but now snap chat is not working. i have a whole bunch of people in my contact list that was backed up from previous iPhone backups but when I open snap chat and try to add friends from my contact list nothing comes up. Before anyone asks yes I did allow snap chat access to my phone book. I have uninstalled the app 3 times with no luck updated my phone and restarted it. i do have an unlocked iPhone 6 plus.

Has anyone experienced anything like this? It's killing me that I can't add people on my contacts list and I'm stuck with what I had from my galaxy.

Mac Pro, null

Hi imushrms,

Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.

It sounds like your Snapchat app is not working as expected on your iPhone.

Since you have already tried some good troubleshooting steps including deleting and reinstalling the app, and the issue persists, you may want to contact the developer for more help through the App Store:

If you see this issue again, contact the app developer for help:

  1. Find the app in the App Store.
  2. Tap the app, then tap Reviews.
  3. Tap App Support under App Store Ratings.
