Q: For two months I have been unable to install "iOS 8.1.3" on my iPad. I keep getting an error message. Is there a solution?

I am unable to install iOS 8.1.3 on my iPad 2. I have tried all suggestions but I keep getting the error message UNABLE TO INSTALL UPDATE An error occurred installing iOS 8.1.3 followed by CLOSE or SETTINGS boxes.

    Since we have no idea what "all suggestions" encompass, I will offer these if you haven't already tried them.

     

    If you are trying to update over the air...

    Try using another WiFi network.

    Reset your router by unplugging it from power for about 30 seconds.

    Reset your iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears on the screen. Let the iPad restart and try again.

    Try using iTunes.

     

    If you are using iTunes...

    Disable your antivirus software and turn off your firewall.

    Try downloading the update OTA in Settings>General>Software Update
