how do I get rid of an airplay dialog box on apple tv that keeps popping up on my tv screen

When my apple TV "sleeps" and displays photos from iPhoto, a square black dialog box telling me about "airPlay" and how to use it keeps popping up and obscuring the pictures. How can I get rid of this dialog box? Thank you!

And is there a way to use "airplay" with my late 2010 MacBook Air running Yosemite without using Air Parrot?

Had this happen to me after a recent update, was super annoying. To turn off, go to Settings > AirPlay > Conference Room Display > Off.
