Separate this into two separate issues, as it IS 2 issues. For the car, consult the manual for the car audio system; you must put the car system into Pairing mode before it will connect to a new device.
For the Macbook, you cannot pair an iOS device with any computer, Mac or otherwise, except for Internet tethering. See: Bluetooth: Why can't I pair my iPhone or iPad with another iOS device or with my computer?
