I'm not sure why you just wouldn't sync the photos using iTunes. That's how I move my iPhoto albums and events from my MBP to my iOS devices. The newest iTunes interface is not the same as this one, but the process still works the same way.

Mar 7, 2015 1:39 PM in response to scottfromcrudenby Demo,Are you using iCloud Photo Library Beta? I am not using it and know nothing about it, If you are using it, you may have to upload the photos in iCloud.com depending on what version of OS X you are running.
