Q: Photo sharing issues between iPad mini 2 and Macbook Pro

I'm trying to share two albums from iPhoto on my macbook to my iPad mini 2. However, nothing seems to be working, iCloud and Photostream aren't communicating between the two devices, bluetooth keeps telling me that my iPad is not equipped to receive these jpegs. Both devices are on the same apple ID account and i've done everything i can think of to change my sharing and privacy settings to allow the transfer, can anyone offer any advice as to how I can fix this problem??

You can't use Bluetooth to share the photos unless you use AirDrop and your Mac has to meet certain requirements in order to do that. You can read about that here.

I'm not sure why you just wouldn't sync the photos using iTunes. That's how I move my iPhoto albums and events from my MBP to my iOS devices. The newest iTunes interface is not the same as this one, but the process still works the same way.

the sync in iTunes only gives me the message saying iCloud sharing is turned on

Are you using iCloud Photo Library Beta? I am not using it and know nothing about it, If you are using it, you may have to upload the photos in iCloud.com depending on what version of OS X you are running.
