metal grill under imac poking out!!

hey everyone, i just noticed the morning after opening up my imac that there the middle metal grill where the speakers are located is poking out a very little bit and is not plush with the speaker grills. I really do not want to have to ship this thing back to apple or take it to an apple genius, my question is will there be any potential harm to the computer? if so is it possible for me to fix it myself?
