Q: Apple TV no longer shows up in Airplay on my iPad but still works on my iPhone

Up until the last few days i could watch using my iPad stuff on my Apple Tv in the family room. Today, on both iPads i can no longer connect. I am running the latest versions of software on the mac, itunes and ipad, and apple tv.

This is a bit frustrating, and problem solving apple incompatibilities is becoming a full time job for me. Very sad.

Does anyone else have the same issues?

    I Have this same exact problem. It has to be a bug. With Apple Watch launching tomorrow, I suspect a new IOS is on the way. IOS 8 has been the most unstable operating system I have seen since becoming an I-pad user.

    Yep totally agree. I have also been on the phone with Apple for over an hour and am expecting a call back shortly. I found one thing though and that is if I turn off all but the one apple Tv I want to use it works. It seems Mirroring has disappeared too. with the last update to my iOS for the iPad it now only allows one Apple TV at a time. I will post what the result is as soon as I find out what is happening.
