Q: What happened to my $25 iTunes gift when I submitted as per instructions on back. Now I am told card was redeemed. Where the the money go?

I submitted the card id# on my iTune account in my computer. I don't know which level I am on. At time of submission I had to change all my msn accounts to gmail accounts as my msn account was not eligible. Now I have new accounts & new passwords! More confusion. If I try to check the card id, it says already redeemed. Have I lost my $25? And how do I find if a balance is under my name? The instructions only show m/c, amex, visa and a couple of others. No iTune card.
