Q: What happens if I don't use my back-up as a restore?

Hi all . . . .

I have a 4S with iOS7 and its getting somewhat long in the tooth so I'm thinking of an iPhone 6.

However, I'm on the fence if I should use my existing data for the iPhone6 or start the process as a new device.

The reason that I'm hesitant to take the restore route is because I have about 2GB of Other Data that I was able to track down as corrupt music files due to the use of iMatch.  I cancelled the service but I still have the 2GB of Other Data.

If I start as a new device would I still be able to -

a)  Sync my music from my laptop to iPhone 6

b)  What about the sync of all the tones I bought?

c)  What about photos and vids?  Can I still sync?

d)  What about the apps?  Sync?

Thanks all . . . .
