If I delete the Find my friends app do I have to add my friends again

From your post I see you're wondering if the contacts you've added in the Find My Friends app are deleted once you delete the app. The added contacts are remembered, and do not get deleted from the Find My Friends app. This way if you decide to delete the app the contacts are saved if you want to reinstall it.
