Q: keyboard F- Controls inoperative in bootcamp (windows 8.1)

1. While running on the Windows side, right click the Boot Camp icon in the lower right hand corner of the task bar
2. Select Boot Camp Control Panel
3. Click on the Keyboard tab at the top of the dialog box
4. Make sure there is a check mark in the box that says, “Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys”
5. When finished, click OK
