To reset a 2nd gen ATV

I Want to reset a 2nd gen ATV to factory default.


must I connect via iTunes to do this?


JUst ordered 3rd gen model.

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9.4), IPad2,iPad,ipad mini, iPhone 5, MBAir, MPro
