Can send but not recieve mail

i can send mail, but no mail has come in for six days (I usually get mail every day from various subscriptions)

is there any way of fixing this ???

iPad 2, iOS 8.1.1

Have you tried sending yourself an email to see if that one comes in? Have you logged into your email account on a computer to check your email just to make sure that everything is OK there? Have you checked the incoming server settings to make sure that your username and password are correct?
