Q: Events 'dropping off' my iPhone 6 calendar

Why do all events (apart from, seemingly, repeating events or birthday) 'drop off' my iPhone 6 a few weeks afterwards? I want them to stay there so I can refer back to things...

    Greetings VickiEngland,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

I understand that some of your older events are being removed from your iPhone calendar. There is a setting on your iPhone that I would suggest changing to help alleviate this problem. Please follow the instructions located in the attached article.

Get help using iCloud Calendar - Apple Support

    Change your sync settings

    1. Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
    2. Under Calendars, tap Sync. If Sync is set to All Events, set it to a specific timeframe, such as Events 1 Month Back. If it's already set to a specific duration, set it to All Events.
    3. Tap the Home button.
    4. Wait several minutes. Open Calendar, tap Calendars, and pull down to refresh.

    Cheers,

    Joe

    Hi Joe,

That's really kind - thank you for the advice.

I have tried that but it doesn't seem to have changed anything (not retrospectively, at least - maybe it will going forward...)

    Thank you.
