In Mail on my Mac how do I request a read receipt?

Can we get an update on this. The link you gave is more then 2 years old. Surely this standard email feature is now on a roadmap or now working?

Mail doesn't provide a way to request read receipts.

Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.
