Yahoo Mail problems

I have 3 mail accounts assigned to Mail in my 13" rMBP (Yosemite): one Yahoo and 2 G-Mail ones; all IMAP. The same accounts are also assigned in my iPhone 5.

Recently I started experiencing problems with the Yahoo one, in the laptop. I could send out mail, but cannot receive (the CONNECT Server Error...). All wasO.K. in my iPhone. So, I tried to delete that Yahoo account and then I set it up again. It worked out; I started receiving mails in the laptop again. But that Yahoo account has been holding something like 25 GB of data, so the re-loading was frustrating and time taking. But I beared it.

Last night it stopped receiving mail again. And this time, my iPhone also isn't receiving any mail.

The "Doctor" in the laptop, indicates that connection to Yahoo's Incoming Server cannot be accomplished.

BTW: The two G-Mail accounts seem to be O.K. both in the laptop and also in the iPhone.

The settings also seem to be O.K.

What can I try now, other than deleting the Yahoo account and setting it up again.

Thanks

Hi mafaky,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. Based on what you stated, it sounds like you have been using automatic settings in Mail on iOS and OS X. I would recommend that you read these articles, they may be helpful in troubleshooting your issue.
