The final outcome is that my iphone5 was repaired by Apple in Hamburg. Besides broken wake/sleep button they also replaced battery and camera. All replacements were free of charge. So it's worth to spend some time for this procedure. The whole duration of repair was 5 days. Unfortunately, I had to leave Hamburg because I cannot wait for five days. So, I returned again two and a half weeks later . They just stored it for me for all this time. I received the E-mail confirmation once my iphone was ready for pick-up. The most tricky thing was an appointment fixing for genius bar. I spent nearly a week checking everyday or several times a day if acceptable time is accessible for making an appointment. The experience was that in reality I would be able to come even without an appointment just for this case I had to wait for little bit longer.

Also you have to be prepared that they will perform the full testing/check of your iphone (kind of incoming inspection with their special software) to confirm that every other element is functional. So if you have something broken which is outside wake/sleep button replacement program be prepared that they either provide a repair cost which you have to accept or just deny the whole repair. Once again mine was fully workable except wake/sleep button (that was confirmed by tests). Why they choose to replace battery and camera also is unknown. I guess it's just their good will.
