I found the answer here http://www.zedge.net/forum/t/104918/#p1
the post should be post #3
I too was having trouble with tonesync recognizing itunes.
I found the solution on another thread :copy the iTunes.Resources folder from
"C:\Program Files\iTunes" over to "C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes".
This worked for me and now I can sync my tones over wifi! Thanks!!!!

Jun 9, 2015 4:28 PM in response to Marialdiseby turingtest2,Have you tried the suggestion above?
You could also contact the makers of the Tone Sync app. It is their job to update to remain compatible, or supply new advice when needed.

Jul 16, 2015 8:01 PM in response to katiefrompolandby margaretfromelk river,Open ITunes on your computer. In the very upper Left hand corner is a little file. Click on this and go down to preferences. Open Preferences. Go to the Advanced tab and make sure the box for Share iTunes Library XML with other applications is checked. Click ok and try running ToneSync. It should now work.
