Tone Sync for iTunes

Hello,

I have a problem with ToneSync for iTunes.

Every time I want to install this app, there is a message: "Error connecting to iTunes - Please verify your iTunes installation. Zedge ToneSync will keep trying."

I reinstalled multiple times iTunes and ToneSync, but it doesn't work.

I have newest updates everywhere, so what can I do next?

Do anyone have this problem too?

Hi Katie, if you're still having this issue, I found the solution on another forum and it worked for me and it seems to have helped other people.

I found the answer here http://www.zedge.net/forum/t/104918/#p1

the post should be post #3

🙂

I too was having trouble with tonesync recognizing itunes.

I found the solution on another thread :copy the iTunes.Resources folder from

"C:\Program Files\iTunes" over to "C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes".

This worked for me and now I can sync my tones over wifi! Thanks!!!!

Hi, I had the same issue, so I copied the folder, restart the installation and it worked!

Now it's asking me to choose the "Automatically add to iTunes" folder to sync zedge with my iTunes: I chose the folder but it's like i didn't do it!!! It continues asking me to pick the folder!!!! How do I resolve that?? please help, I really want to use this app on my phone!!!

It still refuses to work. At first I had problems to chose the "Automatically add to iTunes" folder and it kept asking every minute to link it, then now I have the "Please verify your iTunes installation" one. Whenever I try to QR Scan, I get a "Could not geting pairing request id - libid is empty" , and if I try to Start iTunes from ToneSync, "Could not start iTunes: Failed to get path to iTunes auto-add folder."

Neither Copying iTunes.resources file from Program Files to Program Files x86 nor checking the box with "Share iTunes Library XML" worked for me on this one...
