Also if your computer is less than 3 months old you are entitled to 3 months of complimentary AppleCare telephone support. This would be a good opportunity to use it. You can contact them by clicking AppleCare Contact Info

Mar 10, 2015 9:01 AM in response to rkaufmann87by Dr. Shafty,This is older Imac. Don't want to mess with the drive, just want to map apps to the mechanical drive, such as Dropbox, and Google Drive. Also, continual issue with Photoshop scratch disk.

Mar 10, 2015 10:08 AM in response to Dr. Shaftyby babowa,I don't think you can - at least that is what I was told when I had one for just over a week (returned the iMac due to other problems and opted for a replacement with a regular hard drive) as it does those things automatically:
