I just updated my ipad to iOS 8.2 and can no longer connect to a projector. I am getting this error message. But the settings page indicates my OS updated successfully. How do I resolve this?

It is trying to download something to support the projector, not your OS. What kind of video adapter do you have? Is it made by Apple? If not, I suggest buying a new one from Apple.
In the future, unless you absolutely need some capability that people report is provided by an OS update, don't apply any updates.
THe adapter is the Apple brand VGA adapter. It connected fine yesterday before I updated. Now it won't connect. Can I either download whatever I need to support the projector, or undo the update?
Bummer. I have seen reports where people say to do an iTunes restore. I have no idea if that will fix it or not.
Hold off a bit. I am going to request that your question get moved out of the Developer forum and into the iPhone forum. I really don't know the answer to this one.
The error message appears even if I just plug in the adapter, without actually connecting the adapter to the projecter. So it's not a problem with the projecter.

I'm having this issue also, trying to connect using Apple's Lightning to Digital AV (HDMI) connector. IPad MD512LL/A, iOS 8.2. My iPhone 5S, though, does not experience this issue using the very same cable. It also is updated to iOS 8.2. Apple, wanna jump in here?

I can understand if you only read the friendly URL, you can imagine you have to jailbreak your device, but if you spend 1 minute reading the article, you'll see the steps to downgrade to 8.1.3.

Those instructions are making use of the fact that Apple does not immediately disable old OS versions. If you do want to reinstall 8.1.3, without jailbreaking, you would need to do that very soon. Otherwise, Apple will stop validating the downloads and you will be stuck on 8.2.
I had originally planned to keep my iPhone 5C on 7.1. But I am a developer and was having some trouble with an app not running on 7.1 so I went ahead and updated. That was a mistake. 8.1 runs OK, but with noticeably reduced performance and higher memory usage. Unless you truly, sincerely NEED to update your iOS device, my advice is don't do it.
Has anybody tried to update to last version (8.3) ? I'm afraid the problem wouldn't be solved and I doesn't have any option to came back to 8.1.3.
