How do I delete unwanted iWatch app?
Apple does it again. Installed iWatch app without my permission during upgrade to iOS8.2. Didn't they learn from the last debacle with the unwanted music album? How do I get rid of it?

Mine has never become active. I have bluetooth on more often than not. What did you do to activate it?
Pete
Keep in mind that you do not own iOS, ownership of iOS always remains with Apple.. you own a license to use the operating system. Being that iOS is the property of Apple, they can make any changes they feel are necessary, they don't need our permission because it isn't really our property. This is explained in the Terms of Service agreement that we agreed to when we first activated the device.

It would not be so bad if the app wasn't constantly looking to sync and pair with my phone. I now have to turn off my blue tooth because of it!
1. How can an app sync with the same phone that it's installed on???
2. Why do you have to disable BT if you don't have an Apple Watch???
You clearly have no idea what you're talking about.
If you do not have an Apple Watch, why did you tap the"Start Pairing" button?
Try resetting the phone. (Hold down the power and Home buttons together until the Apple logo is displayed, then release. No data or settings are lost.)
I Think the bottom line of this discussion is summed up by one thing Meg wrote.....its a luxury item. Because it's a luxury item we should get a little better treatment than other device users. The iphon has become a very personal device and as such it behooves apple to honor the extremely loyal users that already live in theapple environment to not fool with the look of your iPhone. It's annoying and intrusive. It's minor to the group but major to the individual
If this is a "major" issue to you, then you should seriously consider changing phones. You could get an iPhone 4 or 4S cheaply or you could get an Android or Windows phone.
George
And you should consider wearing a shirt that says "please sir, may I have another"
My goodness, your an angry little elf. The bluetooth appears to be constantly looking to pair with the watch because of the app. To use your techie lingo, the little round circle thingy in the bluetooth setting is constantly running, it only showed up after the update and apple watch app.
But seriously, you should be a little nicer to people.

If you access the Bluetooth settings, it will search for devices to connect to. This is not new. Yes, the little round circle thingy will spin round and round until you close the Bluetooth settings.
It's always done that. It's nothing new. When you open the BT settings you'll see list of devices you're paired with and below that a spinning wheel as it looks for other devices. And, as always, if you don't actually need BT for anything, it will save a bit of battery life if you turn it off.

Of course it's looking. What do you expect to happen when you open the Bluetooth settings window? It's always going to look for devices when one does that. The phone has behaved this way for years. Close the settings, and it stops searching. Simple. Self-explanatory. Think about it.
Of course, maybe it doesn't stop spinning when you close the setting. Does the light in your refrigerator go off if you close the door? How would you know ?🙂

Set your iPhone to record video, put it in the fridge and close the door, of course! 👿
All you need to know about the light in the fridge is right here. I suspect something similar for the bluetooth cog wheel.
I've seen a few apps that allow you to dig around in the OS.
It must be possible to find the offending app and delete it ? Surely ?
