How do I remove all birthdays from my calendar?

OS X 10.9.5 MacBook Air

There are all kinds of birthdays on my calendar now: Google+ and Facebook. I want them all removed. I don't even know how they got there since I never approved of their appearance. How do I remove all birthdays from my calendar? Thanks.

Click on Calendars in the top menu bar and deselect the Birthdays Calendar.
