Thanks for the suggestion.  I deleted the "Move Media Player" from my MacBook Pro, but now I can't update iMovie.  I've tried to reload "Move Media Player", but I am unable to find a new "Move Media Player" to  reload.  Do you have any idea where I can find a new "Move Media Player" to download?

Whatever "Move Media Player" is or was, it has nothing to do with iMovie or your problem updating iMovie. I suggest you start a new thread in the App Store forum to address that problem, if you can't find a solution by searching the site.

For anybody wondering, Move media player is installed with Sling TV, the online Live TV streaming service (owned by dish network). Their viewing application is just some kind of open source browser code (chromium perhaps????) rebranded and customized for their unique web url. The browser runs the move media player as a plugin.  Just happened to come across this post and thought I would share my knowledge in case anybody else was wondering what Move Media Player is.
