Only if you install Windows via BootCamp or in a virtual machine such as Parallels or VirtualBox
I think the autorun file is for Windows OS, you need to see what's inside (it's text) and use Automator to do the same.

For your application use the free VirtualBox program. Windows operaterats slower but your applications really does not need speed.
You will need a Windows install disk though. You install the VirtualBox app on your Mac and then install Windows in that app. Similar to install Windows on a PC

If you open/view the CD/DVD are there any files that can be viewed? like jpg files?
I ask because I have received CDs with medical x-rays, The disk included a programs and files to fullview and manipi;ate the x-rays but also included jpg files that could be viewed on Mac.
Maybe you disk includes similar jpgs
