I see that you are using iOS 8.2.
have you by any chance enabled iCloud Photo Library (Beta) on your iPad? Then "My Photo Stream" will download from your iPad to your Mac, but no longer upload to your mobile devices with iCloud Photo Library. Also iTunes will no longer sync Photos to your iPad. If you need to upload photos to the iPad, disable iCloud Photo Library, until it is supported on the MAc.
