Aug 21, 2016 2:00 AM in response to Sbyrne1984by Wibo Van Rossum,I had the problem too, with my iPhone and iPad. What helped with me: turn iCloud Drive off for 20 minutes, then turn it back on. Available Storage went from 0 to 3,2 GB. Hope it helps with you too.

Aug 24, 2016 5:23 PM in response to Sbyrne1984by clartdulay,This question was posted Mar 11, 2015. And it's now August 25, 2016. Amazingly, Apple still don't have solution on this issue but a workaround to restore your freaking phone and reinstall all your freaking app back.
I have done this 2x already and the issue keeps on coming back and now I think I'm going to have to yet again waste my time doing the workaround!!!!!
APPLE!!!!! PLEASE FIX THE ISSUE!!!!!!!

Aug 27, 2016 5:28 AM in response to clartdulayby RK Rossi,I have this issue too and yesterday, 26 August 2016, was the first time it showed up. I just recently updated the iOS on my iPhone 6.
I placed as much as I could on iCloud and deleted all extra applications. I got a whopping 444 MB restored to my iPhone. Wow! I'm impressed....
I wonder if going back to a previous iOS would help. This glitch appeared after the iOS update back in March 2016 (February 2016) or was it 2015? It obviously hasn't been corrected with the current iOS either.
I have a similar problem with my iPad 2, but it's centered around Safari hogging the HDD.

Sep 8, 2016 3:38 PM in response to Sbyrne1984by OmarBanasr,it usually is some of the apps are storing to much content you can try and clean junk files and filters apps like whatsapp and infuse from large sized of files
if that doesn't work it means that there are damaged files that cannot be deleted unless you restore your device

Sep 10, 2016 3:15 AM in response to Sbyrne1984by Gaerty76,I Spoke with Apple Support and have managed to get some memory back by deleting and reinstalling apps like Facebook, Google maps. Each time they're used they store caches which can take up memory. Hope that helps.
