Status_Code_Error

I am trying to update one of my apps but when I get asked to sign into the Mac App Store I get a "Status_Code_Error" appear in red letters to the bottom of the login window. I tried to email Apple Support but I get an Error 99 when using their support page. However, their Service Status page says everything is UP. Is anybody else having any similar issues in the UK right now?

I read and posted. The only way I knew it was an issue was by visiting the forum and the existence of a services status - it is not obvious at all in looking at the support listing. It would be a nice gesture of Apple if they posted a link on their top webpage to avoid all this hunt for information. I am have become a volunteer techie for my friends and have gotten too many calls today. And this type of thing is happening all too often.

And so I disagree, DO yourself a favor and post. Make the thread long. Get some attention. The number of posts ARE reported by the tech media where folks find out the information in a quick google search. I think it is about time Apple is made accountable for all the cloud issues as it is their business plan to have us use Apple cloud services - the major engine behind the Apple ecosystem. End of rant ... and hopefully no more "one last thing"!
