I am trying to update one of my apps but when I get asked to sign into the Mac App Store I get a "Status_Code_Error" appear in red letters to the bottom of the login window. I tried to email Apple Support but I get an Error 99 when using their support page. However, their Service Status page says everything is UP. Is anybody else having any similar issues in the UK right now?
MacBook Air, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)
Its a WORLDWIDE issue peeps...
Apple support called me back within 1 minute and advised they're working on fixing the issue.
Suggested it may be another few hours âš and gave me this link to track the status http://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/
Yes it's a pain but they're doing all they can...

Hey guys ( in all your different countries),
I'm in Kenya and having the same problem. I just checked the apple status page, and it's saying that since 12pm EAT, my time, all of the stores have been down (iTunes, app, ibooks, etc.), till now.

Yep, I'm in the UK. My my Mac just arrived and I was about to buy logic x and got the same message when i tried to login. Not happy

Cupertino spent much of the morning – UK time – apparently ignoring gripes from fuming customers who moaned about the service going titsup on microblabbing site Twitter.
However, Apple has finally coughed to outage strife affecting its iTunes Store, iBooks Store, Mac App Store and App Store, as well as sign-ins for iCloud accounts and mail.
According to the Tim Cook-run firm's status page, its iCloud system has now recovered.
But – at time of publication – Apple said that "multiple store services" were "unavailable for all users."
