Status_Code_Error

I am trying to update one of my apps but when I get asked to sign into the Mac App Store I get a "Status_Code_Error" appear in red letters to the bottom of the login window. I tried to email Apple Support but I get an Error 99 when using their support page. However, their Service Status page says everything is UP. Is anybody else having any similar issues in the UK right now?

MacBook Air, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)

Called Apple Care here in the Netherlands, apparently some server experienced problems, causing this status_code_error failure. The Apple Care rep told me she hoped this would be solved in a matter of hours, but I fear it will take a bit longer.


On a Dutch forum, I found information about an internal DNS error, that caused servers to be unreachable, or something... strange that there is nothing about that on these forums.
