Status_Code_Error

I am trying to update one of my apps but when I get asked to sign into the Mac App Store I get a "Status_Code_Error" appear in red letters to the bottom of the login window. I tried to email Apple Support but I get an Error 99 when using their support page. However, their Service Status page says everything is UP. Is anybody else having any similar issues in the UK right now?

Canada here! I've been having issue with properly downloading software from the App Store since I started using Yosemite 10.10, items appear in the Software update list but won't download and up date. Apps appear in both the "Update List" and "Updated in the last 30 days list". Eric Root listed some instructions on a forum somewhere here on how to reset the App Store Application by going to the Terminal Utility and it appeared to work once but the same issue has continued to come back. I have included a screen shot of what that looked like.

I saw the Apple Lisa demonstrated, I had an Apple 11e and an Apple Iic and several Macs since , plus I also have MacBookPro, iPod and iPhone and I am just about ready to dump my whole life long relationship with Apple over the terrible mistake I made of upgrading to the buggy Yosemite 10.10.

I used to provide tech support to poor sods using Windows XP. Pretty sure I reinstalled that OS about 10,000 times. I switched from Windows to Mac a long time ago because Windows was so broken and Mac just worked (remember those ads poking fun at buggy Windows?). That was when Steve was in charge. Things appear to be going from bad to worse since Steve left us. I will give Apple a few more chances to bring themselves back to a higher standard, but I am really running out of patience with them.
