Internal Server Error after OS X Update

I have upgraded with the latest OS X patch and now cannot open the "updates" tab in Apple Store. I get an "Internal Server Error - Read" message.

I have also noticed Simcity Complete Edition for Mac which was purchased in Jan 15 now seems to have reverted to a "beta" version after the upgrade.

App Store also will not allow me to login.

I am concerned because if this is a bug caused by the upgrade, now I cannot get to the upgrade page to download any fix.

Any suggestions?

Some one else reported similar symptoms. To help us help you, please do two things:

Start up in Safe Mode (which does some repairs during startup), then restart normally after:

OS X: What is Safe Boot, Safe Mode? - Apple Support

let us know if there is a change.

Also, please report this to Apple at apple.com/feedback. You need to tell them which update you did and which others you did before that.

Hi greg. Same problem here. I started up in safe mode then restarted normally. There is no change. The error message from the updates tab still reads:

Internal Server Error - Read

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
