Can I stream CSPAN via Apple TV from my browser?

If I buy an Apple TV, will it allow me to stream CSPAN from the browser (Safari) on either my iMac mid-2011 running Yosemite or on my iPhone 5S running iOS8.2, ideally directly into my TIVO Roamio (which is on my WiFi network) and then onto my HDTV, but if not, then just into my HDTV (which is also on my WiFi network)? I know that Apple TV has dedicated access/icons for certain channels (program content providers) but doesn't have that for CSPAN, but in theory, the Apple TV should allow me to do AirPlay streaming, I think, showing or mirroring my computer or iPhone display, no?

iMac (21.5-inch Mid 2011), OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)

The poster is referring to mirroring, which will push your entire display to Apple TV. If you are viewing CSPAN on iMac then that is what will be seen on Apple TV. The limitation would be based on network performance as this requires a lot of resources. Avoid activity such as other streaming, network backups etc during this time. Using ethernet will of course be more reliable.
