Setting up VPN on Verizon Fios

I'm attempting to setup a VPN to my home using OS X Server, I have a Verizon Fios router and have port forwarded UDP 1701 and 500 along with the NAT for my machine running the server. The status reported by OS X Server says that the reach-ability is unknown. The day before it said reachable but no services available, I'm not sure what changes I made between now and then that caused that but does anyone know where I should be focusing my attention. I'm just looking to VPN an iPad if it makes any difference in setup. Thanks for any help!

My impression is that when you are using your devices with your home router, your privacy is already protected... visit the website for the router to insure your settings are as you want... However, when you're away from home, especially when using a public hotspot where the risks are high then you want to rely on a vpn app.... such an app can be "paused" or turned off whenever you're back home. You do NOT have to pay for such a vpn...

In the App Store search for vpn defender... read the reviews from happy users... it's free with no ads, gimmicks or catches. They profit by selling NON-personal usage data, keeping you anonymous 🙂 ... Online banking etc. at a public hotspot no prob.✅ Visit vpn defender 😉
