Q: Final Cut Pro license

I have a trial version which is about to expire probably deleting weeks of work. How can I transfer this work to the empty purchased version?

Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.3)

Best to ask in the Professional Applications Forum.

I've never used a trial version, only the full commercial version. I would assume that you should be able to open the project in any licensed version, so there should be no loss of work when the trial expires.

I've been trying for hours to open the files in the licensed version with absolutely no luck.

Nothing of your work gets deleted, when the trial expires:

Your raws&projects are in a Library.
So, with the purchased version goto File/Open Library/other... and you can continue to work.
