Q: Iphone printers

If your printer is AirPrint compatible and can create a WiFi hotspot you can use it on the road.

The iPhone can create a hotspot using your cell data connection but that will not work for printing

Are you taking your printer with you?  Or, is it at home turned on?

Purchase an AirPrint printer that can set up its own WiFi hotspot. I believe both HP and Canon have some models that do this, give them a call and tell them what your needs are. If you are in a hotel room you can connect both the printer and iPhone to the hotels WiFi network and try printing.

You still will have to have power. As I said, call the printer manufacturers and ask which models will meet your need.

Mobile printing is still a bit problematic.

You need to verify that the printer supports adhock printing and airprint.

To expand the list of possible printers, check what additional printers print n share supports.  Basically, print n share has a bunch more drivers  for non-air printers.  [ You cannot load drivers directly into ios, but an app can have drivers entirely within the app ]  I think there are some nice bluetooth mobile printers.
