iPad Air 2 flashes from Apple Logo to red screen and repeats after 8.2 update.
The title says it all. After updating to Apple's pushed 8.2 update, the device starts at the Apple logo screen, the screen then flashes red, then back to the Apple logo screen. This sequence has been active for the past 30min. I see a large number of "solutions" which suggest hitting/tapping the device on the back. Here's the problem with that, this is suppose to be a revolutionary device. I'm confident that hitting it would be a temporary fix. Seems like a software issue.
- Yes, I've tried a hard reset (power button and home button). Didn't work.
- Yes, I've tried "patting" it. Didn't work.
- Yes, I've tried plugging it into my MBPro to do a tethered update. Didn't work.
I have video of what the device is doing posted on my YouTube account. See for yourself and let me know what you think.
