Problem upgrading memory of a mac mini 2010

I have a Mac mini 2010 with these memories
2 x 1GB PC2-5300 667MHz Ram

I bought a memoir of Ebay and do not work.
Insert 2 modules and makes strange beeps on boot, if I put up does nothing starts without beeping and not send video signal and if I put the form below makes the odd beep.
They are:
RAM-DDR3-Macbook-pro-mid-02.02.2012-GB-4GB-mt8jtf25664hz-1g6m1
It is this: http://imgur.com/DFV7s99
2GB 1RX8 PC3-12800S
http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/DDR3_SDRAM
Turns out I tried i7 laptop with (DDR3, 10600, 1333-MHz) and worked and this is (12800 DDR3-1600) art of a MacBook Pro 2012 ...and does not work ...😟
Can anything be done?
Perhaps better than store or sell ...
My laptop has Windows 8Gb and may put them at Mac and these 4Gb the laptop i7, but maybe worse.

Greetings😉

HI,

I have the answers for you. I got the same problem. You have to verify the voltage of the ram you bought. If the ram have 1.50 for the votage it will not work when you put the two 4gb stick in your mac mini.

The good voltage for the mid 2010 mac mini is 1.35. I bought 2x 4gb 1333 mhz of G Skill and it worked perferctly!!!

Again, the voltage as to be 1.35

If you want to max the speed for your mac mini, change the original hard drive and change it for a SSD hard drive!!!

I Hope this is helpful for you

Your best bet would be to buy from a trusted source that stands behind what they sell. I would recommend either OWC or Crucial, in that order.

For me, the only value of eBay is the hunt for hobbyist collectibles.

I Bought some g.skill 2x 4gig for my Mac mini mid 2010 as per their website. I matched all the specs but cannot get the two to work together. You are correct in that the ram says 1.5v on it. So how did you find the voltage for the ram. And if I purchase the ram with a lower voltage but a higher speed is there concern it will not work in the system. I bought it from a local store but they will test the ram and say it is fine and that my system is the problem. MSY technology are not friendly with returns.
