Bluetooth Tethering Not Stable After Upgrading iPhone 5s to iOS 8.2 and Yosemite 10.10.2 MacBook Pro with Latest Security Patch (2015-002)

After upgrading my iPhone 5s to iOS 8.2 and my MacBook Pro (running Yosemite 10.10.2) with the latest security patch (2015-002), Bluetooth tethering becomes unstable. The MBP would connect but it would loose the connection after a while (no specific time period). When this happens, the iPhone still thinks the MBP is still connected (according to the Personal Hotspot state at the top).

This scenario worked perfectly before these devices were updated.
