lost data on external sd card

Hi

Recently I shot some images on my camera (RAW) attached my SD card to my MAC, and usually I copy the files over, however this time I Cut & Pasted them to a folder on my desktop.

my problem is, I deleted the folder by mistake and unwittingly emptied the recycle bin!

my SD card has not been used since, or re-formatted, so my plea for help is, is there any software out there that can recover the folder from the sd card?
