People in my office have homesharing on, do I?

When I open itunes at work, I have access to other people in the office's itunes. My itunes says that home sharing is off, but if it is then why do other people's show up?

It sounds like you have confirmed that Home Sharing is not enabled, but can see other peoples iTunes libraries. It seems from what you describe that they have this setto do so in the iTunes Preferences. This article will explain it some more:
