Mail goes offline by itself. Only restarting Mail helps.

It has become a real drag...

I need to restart Mail every few minutes.

I have many accounts with different servers and providers and they all go offline, so it's not a problem on their side, given that as soon as I restart Mail everything is OK.

I work with email: having to restart always will bring me to abandon Apple Mail after years of faithful usage.

No, it doesn't.

Connection doctor doesn't help either, since it just tells me that it can't connect (I know that!) to try and uncheck ssl (which is B.S. otherwise it would never connect to begin with and it is unsafe)... it would just not connect; but here the question is that Mail does connect then it suddenly stops connecting: no sending and no receiving.

I have emptied all caches, repaired permissions, you name it.

BUTW: I am not a nubie... I've use Mac for over 25 years!
