Q: Internet not working on Bootcamp
Hello,
I have been researching and researching this and nothing I do seems to work.
I recently purchased Windows 8.1 to bootcamp my computer. The internet doesn't work on the Windows side of my computer but does work in the Mac side. I have a OS X Yosemite iMac version 10.10.1 (2012) and my bootcamp is version 5.1.2.
I clicked on all the checkmarks when I did do the installation for bootcamp and it should've updated the Windows to what I need? At least that's what I understood in the forums that I've read. I had a USB drive inserted when I downloaded it too.
The wireless internet doesn't even show up and my ethernet cord has never worked with my computer so I'm not sure what to do. I can't find my (or any) wifi networks. My mouse and keyboard work just fine, in case you needed to know that.
I do not know what a driver is and how to update those or where they are located but I feel like I've probably done that. Not sure. I've tried googling it and it's made no sense to me. I've also reinstalled Windows and that didn't work either.
Sorry if this makes no sense... computers are confusing to me and I'm not sure how to word what I did/didn't do.
Let me know if you need anymore information, thank you so much. I just want to play Dragon Age ):

Please use a USB2 flash device on the OS X side and use System requirements to install Windows on your Mac via Boot Camp - Apple Support to download drivers appropriate for your specific Mac year/model and Boot Camp: Install or repair Boot Camp drivers.
